Luke Bronin is an American politician who currently serves as the Mayor of Hartford, Connecticut. He was first elected to office in 2015 and won re-election in 2019. Prior to his political career, Bronin served as a legal advisor to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and worked as an attorney in private practice.
Bronin is a graduate of Yale University and Yale Law School. He has been active in advocating for economic development, public safety, and education reform in Hartford. Bronin is a member of the Democratic Party and has been praised for his leadership and commitment to improving the city of Hartford.
